NO MUSIC in this scene. Fight was more raw, visceral and freaking real it was inevitable to hold the breath because of its realism, there was no way to get distracted. Nolan is a genius in filmmaking. My favourite Batman is Ben Affleck but i see this. then i care shit and a half how he looks like in comics. This trilogy is simply awesome. The camera work was great in this scene. Love the way the rotation is being used when the Joker is with Harvey's squeeze, it just makes so much more intense.

Bale is the best Batman that ever was, The Dark Knight trilogy is actually deeper and more poetic than comics, this trilogy with Nolan's vision exceeded the limits of what can be done on the basis of a comic superhero. Some ppl here as always cryin abt this not being 100% accurate version of comics, well thats the point. Nolan&Bale did smth nobody did before with comic superhero, in my opinion, they were brave and they won. I dont need superhero movies to be 1000% like comics, for me its boring&plain. And its normal every director/artist has his vision. Bale as Wayne/Batman was subtle, enigmatic, dark and charismatic af. He made his Batman completely unique, if u think he was shitty, um, u just cannot see the nuances which made Dark Knight a masterpiece&Bale's Batman the version almost impossible to beat. No offence, but I think ppl who say Bale was shitty or dont value Dark Knight trilogy, are just not mature enough, rather some 13 yrs olds fans of fights&muscles or just, well, ignorant. Coz for me Dark Knight was finally a trilogy abt superhero with actual substance, where its not only abt fights, just ppl in masks punching each other&visual effects, plus maybe some simple, primitive background story abt boy who ' wanted to save the city. but instead, Nolan's version was finally epic tale abt moral choices, tragic fate, true heroism of a man but also our weaknesses, and about evil personified in Joker- evil which very often is just trivial, but still destructive as great Michael Caine/Alfred says. Some men just want to watch the world burn. I can go on&on. Dark Knight will always be the best superhero movie&Bale the best Batman, I respect different opinion, but like majority who saw the movie, I dont agree. When ppl say Affleck is better Batman I have to laugh, he is nowhere near as good as Bale was. I value Affleck more as a director not actor. Bale is absolutely brilliant actor.

I hope this movie doesn't inspire people to wake up. What I like and love about this Trilogy is that it feels real. No superpowers.
